Apple Mail Errors
Apple Mail has a relatively small number of errors that it will display when compared to Outlook. This section has been broken down into general errors, success messages, incoming mail errors and SMTP or outgoing email errors. The majority of theses errors are found in the Connection Doctor.
In some cases the errors are generalized and do not specifically identify the problem or one error could appear for multiple issues. Normally when a problem is encountered, mail displays one of two icons next to the account name or inbox if only one account is configured.
